Esports Insider and Nozzabox confirmed as UK Esports Awards Media Partners
News publication and events organiser Esports Insider has joined the UK Esports Awards as an official Media Partner.
They are joined by streamer Stephen Morris, aka Nozzabox, who is also on board as a partner after reaching out to and impressing the team.
Both Esports Insider and Nozzabox will be attending the UK Esports Awards ceremony on Saturday July 7th and running interviews with the team ahead of the event.
The awards contain 16 categories and aim to recognise talent within the UK esports scene. The ceremony will take place at ESL’s Leicester studio, and is backed by partners including G FUEL, Overclockers UK, noblechairs and more to be announced soon.
Sam Cooke, Esports Insider MD and co-founder, said: “As a London-based esports business, we are of course keen to see the UK scene and industry prosper. I've known Dom for some time now and recognise both the passion and hard work that he puts into what he does. This is why we jumped at the chance to get on board and support the UK Esports Awards. The team behind them will make sure they're done well, done right and we've no doubt they will be a success.
“At a time when the UK is beginning to catch up with other regions too, with not one but two majors in the country this year, courtesy of ESL UK and FACEIT, awards such as this are much needed to recognise those making things happen at every level, from the grassroots to the top tier tournaments.
“We look forward to the inaugural awards in July, and those that follow in the future!"
Stephen Morris, aka Nozzabox, added: “I am really happy to join the UK Esports Awards, it’s a new experience for me to be a part of something so amazing. I love the awards; it's a great way of building up the UK esports scene. There’s so much talent out there that needs to be recognised.”
UK Esports Awards co-founder Dominic Sacco commented: “We’re delighted to have a respected publication like Esports Insider covering the event and to help promote an up and coming streamer. Nozzabox approached us after our initial announcement and impressed us with his tenacity and friendly attitude. Roll on July 7th.”
